BOKER - KNIFE MANUFACTURE FOR OVER 140 YEARS

Since 1869, the famous knives with the world-famous tree symbol have been hand-made in the city of blades. Since the foundation, no knife has left their factory without this seal of quality. The long history of the Boker tree work is characterized by eventful times. One thing has remained the same for over 140 years: their passion and enthusiasm for exceptional knives.

The Boker Knife Manufactory has developed into a global innovation leader and the largest manufacturer of sports equipment and collector's knives in Europe. Their corporate philosophy has always been very international. From the beginning, the founding fathers recognized that there was enormous growth potential for German quality products on the worldwide export markets. As early as the 19th century, the Boker family founded companies in Russia, Canada, Mexico and the USA that successfully opened up the global markets. Unfortunately, at the latest the Second World War ended the flourishing cooperation of the international Boker sister companies. After painstaking construction work in the bombed-out main plant in Solingen, Boker branches were founded in Denver USA and Buenos Aires Argentina in the 1980s to open up the important knife markets in North and South America.

2011 marks an important milestone in the recent history of the Boker Knife Manufactory, as they can celebrate the 25th anniversary of Boker Usa in Denver this year. The American subsidiary is developing very successfully and is asserting itself in the extremely competitive environment of the world's largest knife market. They will celebrate this anniversary with a number of special models and collector's editions throughout the year.

The recognition and international success of their services as well as the long tradition of their manufacture are both an incentive and an obligation for them to continue to design and manufacture high-quality and innovative knives in the future. They place high demands on theirselves, their knives and the way they produce.
